Need to know: "Accepts clean, dry bags and wrap with no food particles or contamination; retail or grocery bags, newspaper or dry cleaning bags, plastic case wrap (around water bottles, snacks, toilet paper, napkins, diapers, etc.). Bring to the store vestibule or foyer during store hours."

Landfill Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. | Saturday 7 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Compactor Hours: Monday - Friday 7 a.m - 7 p.m. 
Office Hours: Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
Need to know:  All locations accept aluminum cans, cardboard, glass, newspapers, magazines, mixed paper, plastic, white goods (washer, dryers, stoves, refrigerator, freezers - up to two) , other scrap metal, printers/copiers, cameras, DVD/VCR, computer equipment, gaming systems, telephone systems, stereo systems, cell phones, MP3 players, microwaves, softcover books, clothing (books and clothing are collected in the small blue bins). Holidays closings on New Years Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.


Need to know: A Collection site for oil and lead acid batteries (used for auto, boat, motorcycles, lawn mowers) is on site. 

Need to know: Household Hazardous waste collection occurs EVERY SATURDAY.  (Paint, spray paint cans, Florescent Bulbs, Weed Killer)



Need to know: Residents of Moore County can bring up to five (5) tires for free disposal at the Moore County Landfill.
